How Jamming Junction Works
Step 1 - Add the Jam Date to System
Once you have your location locked down, you then set the date/time your jam will be held. Typically, this is a recurring date, like every Wednesday or the First Saturday of the month.
As one jam is completed it’s time to add the next Jam to the Jamming Junction. The Jam is added by the Jam Coordinator. This lets the Jammers know when the next jam is going to take place.
Step 2 - The Jammers Request Songs
The Jammers access Jamming Junction at their leisure to see what songs might be being played and make requests should they want to. Selections can be from the thousands of charted songs in the database, or they can provide or request new songs to add to the database.
Step 3 - Jam Manager Updates Jam Set List
Jamming Junction allows ongoing communication to allow the Jam Coordinator and the Jammers to fine tune what songs to play, preferred keys, capo positions to use, help with harmonies and possible instruments and anything else to lock in songs.
As the Jam approaches, the Jam Coordinator can update the Jam Set List order to provide the jam with an entertaining ebb & flow – like an actual concert.
Step 4 - Jam Manager Sends Email
With the Set List complete, the Jam Coordinator prepares an email using a provided template or creating one from scratch. This Email can optionally include the Set List and the names of participants singing, easily copied and pasted directly from Jamming Junction.
Jamming Junction includes a full and versatile communication option for sending and receiving emails and more. All Jammer’s emails are added to system as they sign up.
Emails can go out anytime and as often as it makes sense for your jam.
Step 5 - Jam Night
It’s time to sing & play music! Jamming Junction allows you to experience your jam like it’s a concert. You have a Set List, you have designated singers, everyone follows the same song charts, it’s like a professional thing! The jam takes place, and everyone is feeling great and having a great time! Most likely no one goes home disappointed.
This is just an example of the possible flow for your jams; it’s all up to you.
